I recently stayed for four nights in a Classic Twin Room at the Mercure in Curitiba. The room was clean and modern, and the bed was particularly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. I found the storage options to be lacking, with only a small wardrobe holding just four hangers, so it was a bit cramped for clothes. The location was fantastic, right in the center of Batal with a lovely café/bookstore just opposite. I appreciated the 24-7 security at the front, adding to the feeling of safety. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and started early at 6 am, which was helpful for my early excursions like the Serra Verde express. A nice touch was the additional bedding and the power shower in the bathroom, but I did notice the room could use a bit more kitchen equipment since I had booked a flat with a kitchenette. All in all, a solid place but a few tweaks could elevate the experience further.

Unfortunately, the WiFi was super slow, which was frustrating when we tried to plan our outings.

The Superior Room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious, featuring a cozy layout with a separate living area that made it feel more like home. I particularly enjoyed the power shower in the bathroom. it was an excellent way to kickstart my day after a long night.
The room's storage left much to be desired, with only a single small wardrobe and a mere four hangers, making it tricky to manage my clothes for several days. The WiFi was also frustratingly slow. I struggled to get anything done online, which is a bit of a letdown for a hotel in this price range. While I looked forward to the kitchenette, I was disappointed by the minimal equipment available, and some of the furnishings felt a tad outdated.

My stay spanned four nights, and I really appreciated the early breakfast hours, especially since I had a trip planned on the Serra Verde Express. The room itself had a cozy layout with a separate living area that exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the power shower in the bathroom, which provided a refreshing start to my mornings. The nearby café/bookstore served as a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the local area.
